Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with a wide range of piano-based repertoire, including classical (art song, opera, oratorio, instrumental works), as well as jazz, pop, and contemporary music.

My approach adapts to the stylistic and musical demands of each genre. If you're unsure whether your program is suitable, feel free to get in touch.

  • I recommend booking as early as possible, especially during audition and competition periods.

Early booking ensures availability and allows sufficient time for thorough musical preparation.

  • Please prepare your repertoire in advance and share the scores ahead of the session where possible.

It is also helpful to clarify your artistic goals (e.g. audition, recording, or concert preparation), so the session can be tailored accordingly.

For recording sessions, the venue and recording equipment are arranged by the client. However, I am happy to assist with recommendations or help you find a suitable recording space if needed.

Arriving well prepared allows us to use the time efficiently and focus on detailed musical work.

  • In a typical session, we run through your program together from beginning to end.

During this process, we focus on musical and technical aspects such as interpretation, balance, phrasing, and stylistic clarity, making any adjustments that are possible within the time available.

The aim is to refine the performance in a practical and efficient way, whether in preparation for a rehearsal, audition, recording, or concert.

  • You can book both individual sessions and the full preparation package.

Single sessions are suitable for focused work or specific repertoire, while the package is designed for more comprehensive audition, recording, or performance preparation.

If you're unsure which option is best, I am happy to advise you.

  • The Audition & Recording Preparation Package starts at €160 and includes both a rehearsal session and a performance or recording session.

For individual coaching sessions, pricing is best discussed in advance based on the length, frequency, and nature of the work. This allows me to provide a tailored and accurate offer.

Pricing may vary depending on the length and complexity of the repertoire. For an accurate quote, please get in touch with your program details.

  • Yes, student discounts are available in certain cases.

If you are a student, please mention this when contacting me, and we can discuss suitable conditions based on your repertoire and project.

  • Sessions can be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Late cancellations may be charged partially or in full depending on the circumstances.

This allows me to manage my schedule fairly and maintain availability for other musicians.
